Our Orthodontists
As established by Dr. Nicholas when he started Mellion Orthodontics, all three of our providers have a commitment to the communities we serve as well as many professional organizations.
Dr. Nathan Mellion
Dr. Nate and his wife Tana, a nurse anesthetist at Akron General-Cleveland Clinic, live in Jackson Township with their two sons, Andrew and Brandon. He enjoys golfing, fly fishing and spending his time with his family.
Dr. Theresa Mellion-Minter
Dr. Theresa earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2013 after receiving her Bachelor’s in Economics from Denison University in 2009. In 2015 she completed her orthodontic residency training from St. Louis University with a Master’s of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.). Dr. There is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Stark County Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Cleveland Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Theresa and her husband Dr. Nate Minter, a general dentist practicing in Plain Township, live in Hartville with their son Brooks and daughter Lucy.
Dr. Nicholas Mellion
Dr. Nicholas earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University in 1978. He completed his orthodontic residency training at St. Louis University in 1980. Originally an Akron native, he moved back and started Mellion Orthodontics with his two brothers. Dr. Nicholas is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Stark County Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Cleveland Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Nicholas and his wife Jeanette live in Jackson Township. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending his time fishing, golfing, and playing with his grandchildren.
